Like many Sherlock Holmes fans I still have a found memory of Jeremy Brett's version of the detective, but I do appreciate Robert Downey's performance: he's bringing a breath of fresh air to the character.

I agree with you, Robert Downey Jr is going to make a very sexy Holmes. And I think Jude Law will be refreshing as Watson.
